NABISCO ARABIA COMANY

Nabisco Arabia Company Ltd (NAARCO) was formed in 1995 as a joint venture between Nabisco International and The Olayan Group.

Building on the technical expertise and support provided by Nabisco's international organization, the company quickly introduced a number of world renowned products, such as Ritz Crackers.

In 2000, NAARCO made a major investment in a new plant to produce OREO, the world's most popular cookie. OREO cookies were launched in the Saudi market in March 2001 with a major TV campaign.

Today the company's portfolio includes both global Nabisco brands and locally developed products, such as cardamom-flavored biscuits.

NAARCO's manufacturing facilities are located in the First Industrial City, Dammam. The company services the Gulf market through authorized distributors, which handle both imported Nabisco products and locally manufactured brands.

In Saudi Arabia, NAARCO's distributor is General Trading Company (GTC), a wholly owned Olayan enterprise.

OREO, RITZ, and belVita are registered trademarks of Kraft Foods.
